A Zillion, A Million

A zillion, a million
a bucket full of stars
a bunch of scars
some lies that didn’t go far
were part of my debacle

A zillion, a million
letters that I wrote to you
the things I said, but didn’t do
the mountains I said, but didn’t move
were shrouding my love

A zillion, a million
endeavours to keep
noisome leaps
for the utter predilection
Had only, only one goal

A zillion, a million
blunders that were pursued
Covert actions that were used
Were mere fawns to aggravate muse
Only to keep you. . .

  1. A zillion, a million
    questions I can ask
    how many leaves were trampled
    is not my choice
    was the albatross lifted,
is where my conscious mind drifted.

    • A zillion, a million
      Answers wouldn’t suffice
Do you talk about leaves? The forests were deprived
The curbs were taken care of, one by one
But what about the chances, that went down with the sun.

    • I’d love to read my name in someone else’s book. (If at all you were planning to give me credits) :P

  2. A zillion, a million
    The forests were deprived,
    Of their upcoming lives…
    Told they were shattered,
    But this was a lie…
    Unaware to take the heed,
They forgot that every fallen leaf was bestowed with a seed …

These verses are for no competition. Poetess is unmatched.
